Route #1 (through downtown….a bit tricky.)
- From Tulsa International Airport, enter State Highway 11 northbound. (Exit is on the
right when leaving the airport.) Continue northbound on Highway 11 for about 2-3 miles.
Road slowly veers to the left, heading more in a westerly direction.
- Look for an exit sign indicating Highway 75 South. Stay in the left lane of Highway 11,
because it will actually merge onto Highway 75 South.
- Proceed southbound on Highway 75 for about 3 miles. You’ll see the Tulsa downtown
skyline in front of you.
- The downtown interchange is a bit confusing, so make sure you follow the signs to stay
on Highway 75 South. It’s generally best to stay in the right hand lanes as you
travel past the downtown area.
- Just past downtown you’ll cross a river and you’ll see petroleum processing
plants and railroad yards on your right.
- About 4 miles south of downtown is another interchange. Keep following the signs to stay
on Highway 75 South.
- Look for an exit sign indicating “71st Avenue / Oral Roberts University” (Exit
will be on the right.) At the end of the exit ramp, turn left at the stoplight.
- You will now be traveling east on 71st Street.
- You will cross over the Arkansas River and will pass through several
stoplights on your way to Lewis Avenue. Just before you get to Lewis
Avenue, you will see a Marriott Hotel on your right, followed by a TV
Guide sign.
- Turn in the circle drive at the TV Guide sign. This is the main entrance. Park as
close by as possible and enter the main door. Ask the receptionist to let SpaceCom
know you are here.
Route #2 (avoids downtown…a bit simpler.)
- From Tulsa International Airport, enter State Highway 11 southbound. Proceed south on
Highway 11 about 1 mile.
- Look for exit sign indicating Interstate 244 eastbound. (Highway 11 veers to the left
and merges onto Interstate 244.) Go east on Interstate 244 about 1 mile.
- Look for exit sign indicating U.S. Highway 169. (Exit will be on the right.) Go south on
169 about 2 miles.
- Look for exit sign indicating Interstate 44 westbound. (Exit will be on the right.) Go
west on Interstate 44 about 6 miles.
- Look for exit sign indicating Lewis Avenue. (Exit will be on the right.) At
the end of the exit ramp, you’ll come to a stoplight.
- Turn left at that stop light. You are now going south on Lewis Avenue.
- Continue south about 2 miles. You’ll be going through 3 stoplights. (51st, 61st and
71st Avenues)
- Soon after you pass through the 3rd stoplight (71st Avenue), take
the second right into the circle drive at the TV Guide sign. This is the
main entrance. Park as close by as possible and enter the main door. Ask the
receptionist to let SpaceCom know you are here.
Option #3 (If you don’t want to drive at all.)
The Marriott Southern Hills (which is located in the same complex as TV Guide,
Inc. / SpaceCom Systems) offers a free airport shuttle service. Reservations
are preferred, and it arrives at the airport on the hour.
- Call the Marriott at (918) 493-7000 and ask for the Bell Stand.
- Tell the Bell Captain what day/time you’d like to be picked up, and from airline
you’re arriving…so he can direct you to an appropriate pick-up location.
- The ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the office/hotel complex, ask the
driver to drop you off at the “MicroAge” entrance, which is the middle door on
the east side of the building. Through this entrance and to the left, down the marble
hallway, you will see the glass doors of SpaceCom’s offices. You’re here!
- Note: Before the Marriott driver drops you off, you might want to make reservations for
him to take you back to the airport.
