While the specifics of downlink hardware and installation remain the choice of SpaceCom’s customers, SpaceCom believes the added security of the 1.2 meter antenna compared to an antenna less than 1.2 meter outweighs the small incremental cost of the 1.2 meter antenna. Therefore, SpaceCom recommends a 1.2 meter minimum antenna for any new installation to receive our Ku-Band services. Please contact SpaceCom for specific availability information for areas requiring greater than a 1.8 meter dish.
